The Clash were an English rock band formed in London in 1976 as a key player in the original wave of British punk rock. They have also contributed to the post-punk and new wave movements that emerged in the wake of punk and employed elements of a variety of genres including reggae, dub, funk, ska and rockabilly.
These Lads Changed My Life in so many ways. I am "An Old Man Enough" I saw them 9 different times ( Twice without Mick,,) The 1st time when I was 15years Old..When they hit the stage,,the only other "event/thing" in my life that felt "almost as powerful" was going to the Drag Races with the neighbors across in Pamona, Calif when I was 9 years old. Those Top fuel dragsters where loud as hell, The Clash were louder, and the emotion and energy took it to a completely different Planet!!What a Band and for me truly a blessing in my life and a forever shining light!

Saw them in brum on this tour.
I saw them in '81 and '82. And from 1978-82 they were the best rock 'n roll band on the planet, bar none. What a time that was, a rich one for music.

69, saw 'em 1st time in US tour, Orpheum Theatre, Boston 79, and for a time there they were the only band that mattered, and what a ride it was with these guys, 1st lp was a masterpiece right of the bat, love that lp, then to follow with another masterpiece London Calling, prime Clash right there, well all things come to an end, SHEA, and that was it, still play em.
